These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Smart Converter Android application ("the App"). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Smart Converter is a general-purpose offline-first utility application. It provides tools such as unit and currency converters, calculators, QR/barcode generation and scanning (including a Universal Scanner), Wi-Fi QR utilities, device tools, reminders/alarms, saved items, backup/restore, and related informational features. Feature availability may vary by device and Android version. We may add, modify, or remove features at any time.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Android devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and the Google Play Terms of Service.
You agree not to:
Converter outputs, currency rates, calculator results, calendar conversions, and other figures are provided for general informational purposes and may be approximate, rounded, or based on cached/offline data. Do not rely on them as a sole basis for medical, legal, financial, tax, engineering, or safety-critical decisions. Verify important figures with authoritative sources or qualified professionals.
The App requires no account. Settings, saved items, history, and backups are stored locally on your device (with optional user-initiated export files you control). Uninstalling the App or clearing its storage removes local data. See the in-app/Store privacy policy for details. If you email us feedback, we use it only to respond and improve the App.
Certain tools request Android permissions or system access only when you use them (for example: camera for scanning, Wi-Fi/location-related access for Wi-Fi suggestions where Android requires it, notifications/alarms for reminders, usage access for the optional Screen Time statistics). You may deny any permission, but the related tool will then be unavailable or limited. Declaring a permission never means data leaves your device.
The App, including its code, design, graphics, and branding, is owned by Technologia (or its licensors) and protected by intellectual-property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership to you. Third-party trademarks, bank/wallet names, and content belong to their respective owners; any handoff to an official third-party app does not imply endorsement by that third party.
The App may interact with third-party services on your device or explicit request (Android system dialogs, wallet/banking apps you choose, AdMob). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party apps, websites, or services.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, or non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Technologia is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the App — including payments you authorize in third-party apps or actions you take based on scanned content or estimates.
We may suspend or discontinue the App or any feature at any time. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it, which also removes locally stored data (except files you explicitly exported).
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, in-app notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by applicable laws of your place of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you have questions about these Terms, contact support@technologia.com.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
